For several years now the Greater Zephyrhills Chamber of Commerce has hosted an annual event called Pigz in Z'Hills. This event celebrates great barbecue and blues music. It will take place this time on January 16, 2016 from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Zephyrhills, Municipal Airport located at 39450 South Avenue in Zephyrhills, Florida.
Most people come and make a day of it. Since our January weather is usually neither too hot or too cold, and is seldom rainy, everyone has a great time. And there is something for everyone including the following:
- Food, food and more food!
- Vendors
- Expo
- Show-n-Shine
- Kidz Zone
- Aviation Displays
- World War II Museum of Military History
- and Blues Music starting at 11:00 AM
Since it is located at the airport, pilots are also invited to "fly-in" for the event.
Admission is free, but there is a $10 charge for parking. You can bring lawn chairs, but please no pets or coolers.
