On my weekly radio show, I never know who is going to call in. We have 'regular' callers who are faithful listeners. Some are friends, some are just lonely, some have disabilities, some just like real estate, some are buyers, some are sellers, some are former clients, some are real estate professionals and others just like to follow the conversations.
There was one gentleman who used to call in whenever we spoke about anything to do with ADA, moving for seniors, the right time to move, how to find the right assisted living, condo rules and other facilities for our classic clients. He would call a couple of times a month and we all recognized his name and his voice.
We have not heard from him in quite a while and was concerned. I did a bit of research, found his number and made a call to him.
He answered the phone, immediately recognized my voice and was overjoyed to receive my call. He had been under the weather and this was the perfect gift.
We talked for almost 30 minutes as he quoted some of my recent callers. No question he was still listening but he was not sure if we wanted his calls.
He said he never misses a Sunday show and
I lost count of how many times this sweet gentleman thanked me.
Not a big deal but it was evident that
