Scenic Drive Back to Reno, Nevada

By
Industry Observer

Virginia City, Nevada is about a half an hour drive from Reno, Nevada. Although, some would argue that it is closer to an hour. Either way, the road between the two cities is a winding but scenic road, at times you may even see wild horses grazing on the hill sides.

Weather and air quality can impact the view and while the scenery is always nice to the eyes, it isn't always "picture perfect." However, yesterday the air was crystal clear. Here is what Reno, Nevada looked like:

Looking West - direction Lake Tahoe and California - You can see Mt. Rose Hwy, the road to Incline Village, NV. We expect more snow by Christmas.

Maria, these photos could lure even a city girl like me out to your part of the world.

That is great Patricia, hope you make it out here. Reno is in the valley with mountains all around, providing many areas within a half an hour drive to look down the city and contemplate how little we are. Happy Holidays!
