Merry Christmas from North Idaho
As I woke this morning I was treated to yet more snow. This is truly a white Christmas this year. The beauty is only enhanced with this beautiful layer of white. Everything you look at seems to come straight from a magazine cover. So lucky and grateful am I to have yet another Christmas in North Idaho.

We have gotten more snow here than I've seen in over a decade. I shoveled five inches Christmas morning and then it started snowing harded. I shoveled another area for a second time early Christmas evening. Got maybe another three off of it. Then had about four more inches this morning to shovel. Man...my back is killing me.
But all that aside. How much now did you get?
I wish I had seen this yesterday. Merry Christmas to you, too, Mark. Sorry I'm a day late.
Debbie Laity We are getting more than we have had in a few years on the valley floor. Still have pictures from before, within 8 years, of 3 or 4 times as much. Tends to melt quickly on the valley floors. Schweitzer Ski Resort is loving life right now. They closed early last year due to lack of snow. I believe with just this last 2 weeks they are above last years total.
Nothing worse than shoveling snow. Never the same weight. Can stick in the shovel at the end of your toss. Yes it takes it toll on our backs. I am keeping my fingers crossed I do not need climb on 7 roof tops in the part to shovel snow. While easily a foot plus on the ground only 3 or 4 inches has stayed on the roofs. At 1' I start becoming concerned.
