The World of Mobile Marketing In A Nutshell

 

 

It’s obvious that people are often using mobile devices (iPhones, BlackBerrys, and tablets) to email and browse the internet. So it’s important that your marketing program works effectively on these devices. Here are some tips:

 

Make sure the design of your website is “responsive”, which means your site reorganizes itself, automatically, to display effectively on a mobile screen.

 

Check your ads to make sure they look good on mobile devices.

 

Avoid long-winded emails. Emails seem three times longer on a mobile device than they do on a laptop or desktop.

 

Monitor how your property profiles look. Pictures can sometimes make a completely different impression on a mobile device. (For example, make a room look smaller).

 

Bottom line: Ensure your marketing looks great on a mobile device. If you do, you’ll get better results overall.

Winston, great reminders. I have been busy working on a new website and after much work, checked it on my mobile device and found things that I thought were cool did not line up correctly!  Back to the drawing board with it!
