Aloha Belinda, the sublime beauty of snow in the Rockies is a sight worth seeing BUT the cold and the effects of altitude on the body is something that I like to pass on. Not to rub it in like cocoa butter but it's another beautiful day in paradise
Good morning Kimo. I must say, that your weather is much better than ours. Boxing Day! Isn't that an English custom?

Aloha Michael, my guess is you have not been to Hawaii. Our National flag that was co-opted by the occupational government of the United States has the Union Jack in it's left quadrant. The British occupied Hawaii for about 6 months in the early 19th Century before the Hawaiian monarchy was gratefully restored by the British Crown. We have a number of commonwealth nations represented in Hawaii primarily, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand / Aotearoa. In a nut shell there are number of Hawaiians of British decent and foreign nationals that have an appreciation for the community of nations known as the Commonwealth and the traditions they celebrate.
