Happy Earth Day

The very first Earth Day was celebrated on celebrated on Sunday, November 30, 1969.  Five months later Earth Day was celebrated for the first time on April 22, 1970.  Now every year, on the twenty second day of April we celebrate Earth Day.  Earth Day marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement which started in 1970.
