History of a Painting - "Dog'n Mug".

There was a "Dog & Suds" Root Beer Drive-in, complete with car hops and great Root Beer located on Hwy 20 on the north side of Mishwaka.  Eventually, the drive-in closed and sat empty until a young couple decided to revive it. The new name was "Dog'n Mug".

While exhibiting at an Art & Craft festival in Nappanee, IN, I was approached by the couple after seeing some of my other paintings.  They commissioned me to paint their new restaurant with their two cars in the painting.
