Endre, this is actually at the end of our drive - and just across the country road. It is so close, yet so far away. We do hear it at the house ( not as loud) , but can't see it...hence, my frequent trips to visiit.

Update, we realized the other day, we do see it through the trees. What a delightful tease to see the water sparkle throughout several hours of the day. It's quite elusive and only shows up for about 3 hours - and only if it's sunny. Otherwise the water blends in with the trees and it makes it tough to see.

It's got some big ole rapids in this river Evelyn. During certain times of the year - right now, in fact. Only very experienced rafters, kayakers and canoeists navigate this river.

I sure would like to drop a fly in some slack water on that river.

On Christmas morning, I was up and shoveling about five inches of snow. Then it started to snow harded and I shoveled about another four inches later in the day. Yep...we got a lot of snow and it's still here which is not very common for us.
