Feng Shui is a combination of spirituality, science, art, mathematics, psychology and everything else in between. There are many layers to this practice, yet like with a cake, take your time building upon the layers.
Consider this quick insight, Feng shui is a practice that exercises the the Law of Flexibility.
Usually the mundane feng shui suggestions could be all that is needed to gain new momentum of energy. An example of this could be with a wealth cure in Feng Shui. Plants are always a go to suggestion to place in your wealth corner and in general around your home because the characteristic of a plant is to "grow." Another common cure is adding candles throughout your home to "illuminate" ideas and bring warmth to a that given space. This does not just relate only to your home, it also relates to your inner spirit and heart chakara.
For more deeply rooted situations, this is when it may require an expert to step in and become a soundboard of healing. Sometimes those issues could range from infertility, depression, grieving from the lost of loved ones, overcoming unemployment or understanding how to live a more balanced lifestyle to help you combat chronic illnesses or even cancer.
So for beginners, intermediate and even advance feng shui goers, do your best not to over think the lifestyle of feng shui.
