At the end of each December, I choose a word that is going to define a focus for the upcoming year. Last year my word was "Onward". After the death of my husband in 2011, I felt it was time to look forward and move onward. I think I am making progress on that although it will, no doubt, be an ongoing process.
This year my word is "Service". I am going to focus on volunteering more (specifically for the elderly and infirmed) and focus my writing on the under served market of mentoring new real estate agents... and those studying for their license.
Do you have a word to define your focus for the upcoming year? If not, I encourage you to do so.
Wishing you all a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2016!
Carol
I really like your word for this year and will add that to my list of goals. Thanks for sharing and hope to hear more about your service to others this year. It will inspire all of us to do something in our own communities to help others.

Thanks for reading, Susan Laxson . I'm looking forward to the new year. Hope you are too. Cheers!
If I chose a work, it might be "Next"! If one sale or one day is bad at the office, I'll just look forward to the next one. :)
family. I took a long past due vacation this year and it reminded me that Family has to be the center of my world. I work so that I can enjoy my family.

Carol, that would have been a great word for 2016, and maybe even for this year too!
