Hawaii raises the smoking age to 21 starting Jan 1, 2016
In a bold move, the state of Hawaii is raising the "smoking" age to 21. This includes the sale, consumption, and public possession of tobacco products and e-cigs too. E-cigarettes have become way to prevalent among teenagers and it's time to curtail this trend.
January 1, 2016 is the first day this new law takes effect. Violators can be subject to a $50 fine.

Do you think this is a good idea? Will other states also raise the smoking age? What's happening in your state?
In case you didn't already know, smoking on the beach here is also against the law. This makes for a much nicer experience for everyone.
