Is Winter a Good Time to Sell My House in Martins Point?

By

Do you find yourself asking, is the timing right to put my house in Martin's Point on the market right here in the middle of winter? The answer is simple, yes. Unlike other areas, where home sales peak and fall with the ebb and flow of the school system, home sales in Martin's Point are not restricted by families looking to relocate. Often, busy professionals find it more convenient to shop for a second home during the winter when traffic and vacationers do not get in the way. Winter shopping for homes is restricted by the weather back home which sometimes keeps the buyers trapped up north but the usual time restraints do not get in the way.

The graph below shows the number of homes sold in each month in Martin's Point from July 2014 thru July 2015. The chart records the actual date of closing, which is 4 to 6 weeks after the buyers initially looked at the property. Most of the homes sold in Martin's Point sold in the winter. Buyer's are taking advantage of the off season to find their retirement home.
