No mailto: links and Multiple Properties Per Seller

My first gripe about 8i is why couldn't they code displayed email addresses with a simple mailto: HTML tag?  I felt forced into purchasing Outlook Connector in order to do this (instead of using TP mail), but even that doesn't work.  It takes me to a page to configure my TP mail.  I do not want to use TP mail, I want to use my MarylandREO.net email address.

Is this a bug?  If I installed and configured Outlook Connector, shouldn't I be able to click an email address within 8i, triggering a new Outlook email compose window to pop up?

My second gripe is that my niche is REO (foreclosure) properties and I cannot assign multiple properties to a single asset manager (seller contact record).  If I do, when I import listings from IDX (another $150 option), it messes everything up and the photos are not correct for the property.

So now, I have to create a duplicate for each one of my listings with a particular lender and then manually fill-in their default contact method, which is usually their email address.  This means that I either have to remember it, or go and cut and paste it from Outlook.  Isn't that counterproductive?  I pay close to $100/mo. for my various TP services in order to make things easier.

TP 8i is clunky to say the least.  However, I have so much time and effort invested into it that it is not worthwhile to migrate to something else.

Does anyone else have similar problems or is my configuration somehow messed up?  I followed the directions!
