Lonesome Dove Ranch in Royse City Texas 75189
I want to tell you about a camp my pastor, Dr. Bryan Jarrett and his wife Haley began this last summer. The ranch is to help abused and neglected kids. Their hope is that the kids who come to Lonesome Dove Ranch leave with more than just having had fun fishing, riding horses, making crafts and singing songs. Their true vision is to see these kids’ lives changed. They want to provide a place for healing and the ranch environment to bring them healing through the love of Jesus Christ! 
Using fishing, archery, tractors, horses, hayrides, bonfires, and the entire outdoor experience, the counselors and staff of the camp can help these kids briefly forget about their pain and build positive relationships. They know that one week isn’t enough time to solve all their problems, but it’s a start.
They hope to expand their ministry to offer:
- camps
- events
- intensive one-on-one ministry for kids and families
- equne therapy, which they do now have horses on the property

I personally feel good helping this camp financially knowing it is local ! I know alot of the people running the camp and they are very committed to the success of this ministry.
