HOW'S IT HANGING?

How's it hanging?

By A String.

I walk by this icicle every time I enter or leave my home and for awhile I was wondering... hows it hanging there. I kept thinking that it was so narrow at the top and why doesn't it weight cause it to fall off of the Christmas decoration it is clinging to. Upon closer inspection if you take a look, the icicle has formed around a thread/string and that is 'HOW IT'S HANGING!

Working with National Marketing Realtors of Minot ND we will NOT leave you hanging by a string. We believe in "The Golden Rule" and keep you informed through out the transaction of Buying or Selling a home. Call, text, or email us today for warm friendly service that won't leave you cold and hanging.

When I was a young girl, we lived in Boston and our clothes line always made the most incredible icicle art!  Love this!

I can visualize that Susan Laxson . I have a wire fence that Jack Frost does some increadible work on as well. I imagine you don't see icicles any more living in Naples.

It's amazing what forms icicles can take, especially if you add a little wind.

Or, metaphorically, look what you can accomplish if all you have is a thread!

RealMan ... that is funny.  I am surprised it is able to hold on and hang on to the thread string.

Kathleen Daniels it appears to be embedded at least 4 inches into the icicle. I'm hoping it doesn't harm the Christmas ornament.

That's probably one of the more unusual things I've seen an icicle hang from!

I thought it odd as well Myrl Jeffcoat .  The item it is hanging from is a Christmas decoration that looks like a present.

It's been tempting all this time Will Hamm but I kept thinking "it's gotta fall off" and being it had not I decided to investigate.

The icicles remind me of when we lived in New Jersey.

Good luck and success.

It has been hard not to break it off Inna Ivchenko but so far I've resisted the temptation. Icicles are actually a sign of warmth because you do not have melting (that forms the icicle) without some melting.
