Anna Banana's 10 favorite moments of 2015
When I read Karen Fiddler's post I was delighted to see that so many other activerain members were more than willing to share their very personal moments for 2015. Moments that really mean a lot......to them. I've had so many this year and wanted to share some of my most important moments as well. We've spent the last few days meeting with friends for brunch etc and I was hoping I could find the time to share. Yea... Now is the perfect moment....here I go!
#1 My younger brother is in remission and has plans to live a long and very happy life. He's one of the most joyful, happy guys I know and I am beyond the moon to know he'll be with us for many years to come.
#2 We celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary with many close friends at a Christmas Pajama party. It was a blast and so darn funny too! There is nothing better than spending 'important' moments with dear....and crazy/fun loved ones! And by crazy/fun that goes for my husband as well. He and I were dressed as Elves....and he totally surprised everyone by playing the part so well. Who knew an aeronautical engineer could be so crazy fun:)
#3 I was able to spend quality time with my baby sister Lurana earlier this year. We always laugh until our stomachs hurt (it's a good hurt). When we get started everyone around says....on no...here they go again! At the same time I was also able to spend time with other family members and I loved every moment.
#4 Gary and I took many trips this year and had so much fun. We haven't been able to do so for the past year due to a major remodel we had going on at our house in 2014 and #5 below. It was so fun just to take off....and enjoy and relax.
#5 I got the good news that my foot was finally healed enough so that I was able to begin walking a bit. I'm not back to what I used to be able to do but I'm holding the vision that will happen in 2016!!
#6 As a result of #5 we spent almost every summer 2015 night in the pool cooling off and enjoying the summer in Phoenix (which I wasn't able to do in 2014). It was so SOOOO good to just leave the phone in the house and float around in the pool. Ahhhhhhhh.
#7 My baby sister finally married the woman of her dreams after 11 years. I had fun saying to them - multiple times...are you sure you've given this enough time!! I love my baby sister more than life and she is the best friend/sister a girl could have! They make the perfect couple and we look forward to spending lots more time with them traveling and enjoying life together!
#8 We spent the week of Christmas in New Orleans with dear friends and had a fantastic time with them. We had never been there before so to us it was a brand new experience.
#9 We waited for six months for a woman we knew would be a perfect fit for our marketing manager. She is doing an amazing job and we are so blessed to have her and are looking forward to great things in 2016.
#10 2015 was another fantastic year with my activerain family. I am forever grateful for your friendship, kick in the pants support, humor and amazing spirit. People tell me and think it's crazy that such good friendships could happen online...but I'm hear to say... once again it's for real! YES IT'S REAL. There are so many, MANY good people here in the rain. Thank You! Let's toast to 2016 and being all we can be - together!
