Strawberry Trifle

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Town and Country

This is a super simple and low-fat delicious dessert.

1 quart of fresh strawberries

1 12 oz container of low fat Cool Whip

1 package of strawberry pie glaze

1 baked angle food cake

Clean strawberries and slice. Tear angle food cake in small pieces, about the size of a small egg.

In a large bowl, layer with cake, strawberries, and whipped topping. Top with whipped topping, garnish with whole strawberries.

What a wonderful summer time treat.

I love to have strawberries with cool whip and angel food cake. It is that time of year. We have seen some great prices for strawberries and had them with whipped cream and angel food cake.

this is a recipe that my little cousin used to prepare when she was a teen...you couldn't tell her that she wasn't cooking!

This is a good low-fat summer treat. Angel food cake just isn't the same for me without strawberries!
