Sweeny, Coombs, Fredricks Building - Downtown Houston

The Sweeny, Coombs, Fredricks Building located at 301 Main Street- Downtown Houston is one of my favorite historical buildings. The building was designed by George Dickey in 1889 and is on the National Register of Historical Places. It has three stories and has a turret.

The building had minor renovation in 1968, preserving the wood floors and brick walls.

 301 Main St Houston

At last check, Robert Scardno, a Houston criminal lawyer and Joe Scardino, retired businessman and Tim Horan Jr., real estate attorney now own the building.

I enjoy viewing old buildings and homes. This is why I am a REALTOR who enjoys putting my client first and into the home of their dreams.

If you know of someone who is thinking of selling or buying a home and who would appreciate my level of expertise; just give me a call (713.822.1655) with their name and phone number. I'll be happy to follow up with them for you.

Lou Ludwig I had heard that the building had gone through a renovation. Since it is part of the National Register of Historical Places I think that it should be okay for a few more decades.

Georgie Hunter R(S) ! Good to hear from you! I am sure that someone out there has wanted to tear the building down. However, the original owners made sure that those that took over had the same feelings for the preservation for the building. I think it is beautiful.
