Hellow agents , i need your input as to what's new in your market, it is been a new year with lots of events , is your market up to speed, i want to hear from you as to where you market is now currently and where you think  it is heading.

Last year there were lots of concern the real estate market was going to bubble and here in the Northeast it slowed down and has leveled off .

Whats new is that we are beginning to see lots of homeowners facing foreclosures because of the of the type of motgages they have or maybe they paid too much for the property.

I live between Asbury park, and Long Branch, two cities in the throes of contentious redevelopment, each home to a glaring disparity between the haves, and the have nots.

Homelessness, poverty, drug trafficing, gang activity and daily shootings surround new condos selling for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Recent closings in Asbury have topped $800,000 for a single condo unit.  One window offers a view of the glistening ocean, while another a snapshot of dispair.

But the units are selling.
