If you are looking for something to do after all the holiday events have ended, check out the January events scheduled for the Greenbrier Valley Brewery Company.... yoga, chili cook off and a painting workshop.
On January 7th and 21st - Yoga, Body, & Beer, from 5:30 to 6:45pm. Cost is $10 per person, and your fee also gets you three free beer samples at the end of class. Kimberly Forte will be your instructor for both evenings. Classes are for yoga students of all levels and abilities and are designed to strengthen muscles and lengthen the central axis of the body.
On January 16th - 1st Annual Chili Cook Off, from 6-9pm at the brewery. There will be three People’s Choice winners, and one Best of Show award. The best of show judging will be done by chefs from restaurants in Lewisburg. If you have a great recipe, be sure to bring your chili in a crock pot, and bring your own ladle to serve with. GVBC will provide all the other supplies.
On January 22 - Arts and Ales at the Brewery starting at 7pm. The cost is $40 per person for a 2-hour professionally taught painting workshop. Professional artists, Rose Dobbins and Pamela Gatens, will be teaching the class. All art supplies and one free drink token included with each ticket purchase!
