JP Morgan Chase Tower - On Throw Back Thursday
The JP Morgan Chase Tower building located in downtown Houston is the last building I worked in.
It is 75 stories tall (1,002 feet in height). The tallest building in the state of Texas and the 12th in the nation.
I watched this building being constructed for our company from the Penzoil Building's twelfth floor; where I worked in the Treasury Department for United Energy Resources./United Gas Pipe Line Co. It was completed in 1982.
I passed by there the other day and a flood of memories came back.
The only thing that was missing was the bird man who would stand next to the art structure and whistle like a bird.
There have been many changes downtown and many old warehouse buildings are being converted into lofts and condo buildings are being constructed.
If you are thinking of moving into a loft or condo; or if you know of anyone who is thinking of buying or selling a home who would appreciate the high level of service I provide, just give me a call with their name and number. I’ll be happy to follow up with them for you.
