Failure got you down?

Failure is a part of business.  We need not to be afraid of it!  We need to realize that it is a part of business.  I found this quote and thought it was great.

Success is going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm.
Winston Churchill

When I learn about successful people I hear quite often how they had to fake it before they made it.  I thought that was crazy that these successful people were trying to trick their minds into thinking that everything is great.

The longer I am in business the more I understand this and strive to always keep up a positive attitude and move forward.

Do you strive to keep a positive attitude during one failure to the next?  I know that in my life it can be very hard to always stay positive when things get rough.  It is just like anything else; the more you practice the easier it is to have enthusiasm towards all things that you do.

Keep your enthusiasm up and you will be successful.

Bronson,

I love your name!  I like the saying, "It is better to try and fail, than fail to try."  I always know that God is on my side and all my failures are just stepping stones to  success!  Good Post!

Good Post Bronson, it's great food for thought.  During this time of leaness in the industry I think it is important to keep the right perspective.  Failures and successes are all in perception and the context in which it is acheived.  Keeping the right perspective on things keeps the brain in check and helps balance out the emotional and rational circumstances to help us acheive a better sense of what we need to do to get to where we want to be.

There really is no such thing as failure, because if you try you are learning something new and every learning experienced breeds some kind of success even small.  I remember something from my childhood "if at first you don't succeed, try try again." and I have lived by that my whole life.

No such thing as failure (unless you quit trying) it is simply a result that you do not desire. Adjust and try again. Repeat as often as necessary to achieve the result desired.

Bronson, attitude is everything...it is what causes us to do what we do!

Great point, Bronson.  We're only as good as our ability to accept defeat and move on when it happens.

Bronson,

I'm a newbie in this biz.  I have had some success (not nearly what I'd like), but I still keep moving.  I am seeing some become discouraged.  I try to motiviate and encourage them.  No matter what, I keep a positive outlook...whichis strange for me.  This is my 3 or 4th career.  But, that is how I know that I'm in it 4 eva...I am not discouraged nor am I afraid to fail.

Keep the faith everyone!!

Make it a great week!

Bronson,

I agree with Scott.  It's only failure when you quit.  I'm still a newbie to real estate.  Things may seem dismal some days but I keep the idea that as long as I keep giving out my cards, taking classes to further my knowledge in real estate, advertise, keep in contact with friends, family and even the cashier in the grocery store, eventually someone is going to need me!!  I wear my Realtor pin and a big smile everywhere I go!  I'm going to give some lucky client the service they were only hoping they could get.  Tomorrow is another day!
