Buyers or Sellers Market, How is Your Market Doing?

 

Is this not a question that is asked by all who find out you are a real estate professional?

I can answer for Eastern NC but would like to know from my fellow Realtors, how your market is doing?

We have seen a marked increase in attendees at open houses, walk-ins, showings and property under contract.

It is a crazy, challenging market in So. New Hampshire.  Foreclosures/houses in terrible shape due to water damage/freezing.  Short sales -- taking forever and then hurry up and close.  Over-priced listings -- with unrealistic sellers "testing" the spring market -- and then properties priced well -- receiving multiple offers.  I cannot think of one word to describe it other than Challenging!

The market in Orange County,CA varies from 15-35% down.
