5 Comments on Celebrate Earth Day By Recycling Electronics

This is a wonderful thing being done.  I recently read an aritcle in National Geographic regarding "E-waste" and it was frightening to say the least.  I had no idea the severity of this problem.  I have since taken to donating my old cell phones, computers, etc to places that can rehab them and give them back out to the community.

That's great -- We are hoping to have something like that in our area.

I was so excited to see they are doing it because I've been throwing my body over our old electronics to keep my husband from throwing them out. Now we can dispose of them safely and correctly!

Thank you for posting this!  I had no idea and have a few electronics that are gathering dust!

I had no idea you could do this. It makes perfect sense to me!

Another alternative is to items that work to the Goodwill, keep a record of it and take a tax deduction for the donation.
