Winter Home Safety
Old man Winter seems to be here to stay and with that comes the potential for the harsh weather to wreak havoc on your home. Just a friendly reminder on some safety items that can prevent disasters from happening in your home this Winter. 
A little preparation goes a long way! Look into these items as soon as possible and make any necessary repairs. Knowing you'll have a safe and warm home throughout the Winter is priceless.
Important reminders, Amanda! And the carbon monoxide issue is serious. One of my neighbors lost her brother to this.

HI Amanda - great and very important post. You have different weather considerations, but carbon monoxide detectors, HVAC inspection, cleaning out rain gutters can be applied to all areas.

Amanda, some "must dos" that are such great safety measures! We just put in a new heating system and our neighbor asked, "did you have the ductwork done?" Well, gosh, NO. That needs to be done as well! So, added that to our list, live and learn, share and learn!

Bob, I agree. Maintaining our investment is important for so many reasons.
Argh, clogged gutters have caused myself and clients problems. Such an easy thing to maintain, although a little gross! And, carbon monoxide detectors are so inexpensive these days that there should be little excuse to having a couple if you are a home owner.
