Don't Miss the 2016 Luck Winter Carnival!

Looking for something fun and a little less traditional to do for Valentines Weekend, then a trip to my hometown, Luck Wisconsin, may be in order.

Feb 11 through 14, 2016, Luck will be hosting their annual Winter Carnival which is always an event to be remembered in this charming little town.

The kick off will be Thursday night with the lighting of the Ice Castle, certainly an event to not be missed.

Then Friday will be the pageant for the Winter Carnival Queen.

Saturday will start off with a Lions Club Breakfast, followed by tons of other activities for the whole family, including a torch light parade, dance, vintage snowmobiles, radar runs, bingo, medallion hunt, sales on Main st and more.

Sunday will include more great fun for old and young with an ice fishing contest on Big Butternut lake, bonfire at the boat landing, fireworks and more.

I hope that you all can make a trip to our little town for some winter celebration.

I have not been back to Luck for a while, but maybe it is time to answer "Yes" to that facebook invitation that has been nagging at me for the a past few weeks, it has been far too long since I have seen many of these friendly faces.

See you there!

What luck!  A winter carnival in Luck.   They are so lucky to have such a fun event.  I hope they have good luck with the weather.
