It's with a heavy heart that I must inform all of you that Texas Longhorn point guard D.J. Augustin will be leaving the Longhorn basketball team to enter the NBA draft.  Another great UT basketball player fails to stick around, what a shame.

For all of you who bleed burnt orange, have hope for next year.  For the rest in the Big XII, don't rejoice too hard.

All that said, I wish D.J. the best of luck in the NBA.

Patrick,  I wish the rules would change back so they would leave the college kids alone and let them finish school.  You know sometimes bad things happen and some hot college player gets hurt or sick and then he has lost a lot. Even if he gets to keep that first money it somehow gets away.

Selected by: Charlotte   Round:Pick (Overall): 9 (9)

Not bad for a 20 year older.   I haven't seen  much of the kid, but at the 9th overall pick, he can't be that bad.
