The Harbor Lights Condo is a very well managed and cared for community of 28 homes. Although it was built in 1965 (one of the very first condo projects in Kirkland!) it had a major exterior renovation in the summer of 2008 which cost nearly $3 million. As a result, this gorgeous building is ready to go for the foreseeable future. It had new siding installed made from of zinc, cedar, glass and steel. All of the windows were replaced with vinyl clad low-e windows, a new roof was installed, all of the decks were replaced plus more!
The very reasonable dues cover building, grounds and pool maintenance; water, sewer and garbage services, and earthquake insurance. There is covered, carport parking and each unit has at least one assigned place. The building has has a controlled lobby entrance and is pet friendly. What's Happening in Kirkland?
A short walk along the lake side Boulevard will lead you right to the center of historic downtown Kirkland. Wonderful new restaurants are popping up on every corner so you'll have no problem finding an interesting meal to enjoy. Remember too, the family owned pubs and bistros that originally brought vacationers to this side of the lake. Hector's and George's are tried and true standbys loved by all the locals and both have been handed down through the generations. Summer weather brings al Fresco dining at most establishments and people watching is at a premium. Interesting boutiques are plentiful as well as delicious bakeries, coffee shops and wine bars. From Kirkland Uncorked to Fourth of July celebrations to Oktoberfest, there is always something to do!
