Special offer

Well maybe later this week my client will look again!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Hamm Homes

Sometimes it is not to be with clients, my client from last night was not impress with the floor plan or the backyard, so we did not write a offer.  We are getting closer but he needs to buy soon before home prices start going up again in our area.  Of course, he would like a place within a block of were he works but those homes are way to high in price.  He is still on the beer budget.

I feel for you! I am heading out today with a client I worked with last year, took a break, and now we're back together. I know what she wants, but I can never quite find it right now. If we could pick and choose certain things from all the houses she has liked it would make her dream home!

Will Hamm I'll be showing a home within the hour to clients that are looking for the perfect home on a beer budget. It will be about the 12th home I've shown them in the last 6 months. I think they are getting the message that a beer budget doesn't get you a champagne home even in a Buyers market.

Will - Sometimes it is difficult to find the right home in the right neighborhood, given the price point of the buyer. Sometimes they will have to look elsewhere to find what they want, or sacrifice something in order to live in the area they want. Better luck on the next home search for this buyer.

Will, I can relate. I recently worked with buyers who wanted to look at (and make low offers on) homes priced way over their budget.

Reality will hit and he will do what he needs to do, or it won't and he will miss the boat.  Either way, it is not on you.  You're doing all you can.

Tough position to be in espeically in a tight market with appreciating prices. Hopefully reality will sink in so he does not miss out, or find the right home and want to think about it only to have someone else buy it. Good luck

Something we all go through which tries our patience but ultimately makes us better REALTORS.  You'll make it through it all and your buyer will be thankful he had you!

Will, with such low inventory, there is little for our buyers to view.    It is more difficult when they want certain things.

Will, I hope reality sinks in for your client soon. It's going to get harder if he doesn't get the picture soon. We all know there's no perfect house but, sometimes it takes a buyer awhile to understand that.

Hang in there.  Just keep reminding him of his motivation and make sure he know that the longer he waits, he will end up getting less house.

Oh the life of a Real Estate Agent!  :)

On a completely different note - congrats on the Bronco's game. . . although I love the Steelers, Bronco's are also very near and dear to my heart.  I am looking forward to watching them tomorrow!
