Starbucks blames the mortgage industry for losses -Has the code been broken?

Can you believe it.  Understanding that the mortgage industry impacts many different markets, effects housing, trickles into spending..ect.  But who would have thought that the industry would be to blame for coffee sold at grande prices.  Remember that SB was reformatting their business model prior to the mortgage crunch.

Maybe that's where we're missing it.  Inflated home prices....inflated coffee prices.....the parallel is there.  Mocha Latte Caramel Machiatto Venti.....Monthly Adjustable LIBOR 5 Year ARM w 5 year pre pay.  Concidence?  From the headlines it must not be.  The code has been broken.

What will happen when Jumbo loans are found to be partnered with Super Size?!?  Watch out Micky D!

Question of the day....Did anyone notice gas prices are well over $3.40 a gallon.  Gallon of gas vs a Grande coffee.....which would you choose....
