Own a Small Piece of the Smallest City in the USA -- Condos in Falls Church, Virginia

Falls Church VirginiaSmallest city in the USA?  Not by population, but by area... It's right here in Virginia.  Falls Church City.

Charming Falls Church City is but 2.2 square miles of land bordered by Arlington and Fairfax County.  Yet it boasts The State Theatre which features local and national music headliners, a drive-through espresso and smoothie shack, and one of the area's leading jewelry stores Direct Jewelry Outlet (where my wife and I purchased our wedding bands)

Buy a Home or I'll Beat You Up!Falls Church is also the home of my martial arts school, Krav Works (Israeli Krav Maga & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu)  I've been training for two years, so you better buy a home or I'll beat you up!

George Mason High School (GMHS), a highly-regarded, nationally ranked high school (#1 in the DC Area by the Washington Post, #6 in the nation by Newsweek) which includes grades 8 - 12 serves Falls Church.

Falls Church is bigger than Central ParkJust to give you an idea of its size, the entire city is just over 1.5 times the size of Central Park in NYC!  And just in case you care about trivia, Falls Church City was the site of the first ever Roy Rogers fast food restaurant opened in 1968.

Condos in Falls Church

Brian I learned something new, The smallest town sounds like a nice place.  I wonder what it's like to be surrounded by the big cities.

Great explanation of a micro-market. Due to the location, I bet your condo market has not gone soft. My primary lender notified me today that investors would no longer loan more than 90% of appraised value on any condo in our county due to a declining condo market.

Wait a minute... it's that small geographically? I've been to Falls Church... I had no idea of the unlikeliness of my accidentally arriving in such a small place.

Brian, this looks like a unique place. It's so true what Vickie said about a micro-market..most subdivisions are that size. You did a great job picking out all the condos and featuring them.

Plus... I love you "no-pressure" sales pitch!! "I'll beat you up" LOL

YVETTE:  We're certainly doing much better than many other areas of the state and the country!

KATERINA:  Falls Church has that small town charm amongst all the big hustle and bustle of Northern Virginia.

JENNIFER:  Life's just a bit slower in Falls Church.  It has a real Main Street U.S.A. feel to it.  Especially their Memorial Day parade.

CHUCK:  Yep, Falls Church is pretty tiny.  There are also areas of Fairfax County that have a Falls Church address but they are not part of Falls Church City.  In fact, both East Falls Church and West Falls Church metro stations are located just outside city limits.

LINDA:  Glad you like my humorous sales pitch.  I won't really beat anybody up!

BARBARA JO:  Of course, that photo is of Central Park in NYC -- not of Falls Church City, VA.  No skyscrapers in Falls Church.
