The high winds and flooding didn't help the fire fighters deal with this blaze at the Avalon Bagel Shop in the 4100 block of Landis Avenue today. Hopefully, it is out now but heavy smoke damage to the surrounding buildings, including my office.

Unfortunately both Jamacian Me Crazy and Avalon Bagel had to be leveled. It's sad to have lost these businesses in town.

That is heartbreaking, Geraldine "Gerri" Rescigno .
Business owners put everything they have into these places, and then a tragic fire takes it all away.
Hopefully they can rebuild and re-open when the weather improves.
