The District at Green Valley Ranch is a popular shopping and dining destination with choices such as Whole Foods, West Elm, REI, Pottery Barn, Williams-Sonoma, Cheesecake Factory, Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ, Lyfe Kitchen, and P.F. Chang's China Bistro.

Bob Miller is the predominant middle school, with residents east of Gibson attending Mannion. The elementary schools in 89012 are Kesterson, Newton, Twitchell, and Vanderburg.
