On January 23rd 2015 I took this photo at the Evanston Lakefront at sunrise and it was really cold and snowy. Today, one year later we have temps in the low 30's and not much show. Our friends out east are covered in snow. I feel grateful that we did not get this in Chicago land but also feel very had for the people who are snowed in. Peace and love to you and please be careful, stay warm and get help if you need it. Don't shovel if you are not up to it.
That's a beautiful photo. I'm glad I live south enough to never have to worry about a blizzard. We got a tiny dusting, then it was all melted by the end of Saturday.

Hi Noah Seidenberg , What a beautiful photo, I agree with you, because we both know how these bad storms can impact our lives and our neighbors.

Noah we had our first significant snow storm on January 25th last year and then were slammed with several snow storms and freezing temperature through the middle of March. This was our first significant snow storm this year, just two days shy of last year, and I hope what followed last year's first significant snow storm does not follow again this year.

Good morning Noah. We got much less than some, just 8 inches. Fortunately it was the weekend and didn't mess up any appointments, warmer weather this week.

Hi Noah -- just for the record -- no snow in my neighborhood, roads clear and temps expected to be in the low 70s this week.

Noah, what a beautiful photo! It took us over 5 hours to get dug out yesterday. Poor crews were in the neighborhood until 1am with a Bobcat. Your photo reminds me winter beauty and I'm choosing to just enjoy it while it's here. Mother Nature is the boss :)

Hi Noah,
Beautiful Lakefront! I have never seen Lake Michigan more beautiful! Thanks for your gentle thoughts and kindness for our friends and the people out East. I need to check on my friends in Maine and Cape Cod!

Good morning Noah. Very nice picture of the Western shore of Lake Michigan. Thankfully, all of the snow that we got on Friday is gone. Temps warmed up to 54 yesterday and the rest is history.
