Keep up your strength. Before you attack your driveway and find your car...make sure that your grill is fully operational.

Steve and Jan, my back yard has a path that Willie has worn over the past couple of days. It was deeper than his legs are long!

Steve and Jan Bachman That's what I like to see-well-placed priorities! I can tell your pup is patiently waiting for the prize of a bit of BBQ.

Hannah...Thanks for stopping by. It seemed like a cooking shoveling weekend. This dog actually did get a piece of this sausage with her doggy medicine in it.
Patricia, first thing I did was make a trail for this little dog. Maybe by today I can have a figure eight dog track in the back yard.
Sandy and Norm, really...there was no where to go even if you could get your driveway done...might as well relax a bit and enjoy a couple of days. Clients did not call or email...they were shoveling.

Good morning Steve. I enjoyed this on Facebook and am glad you posted here as well. Hope the snow has melted.

Melted Sheila!!! Ha! There is 3 feet and they just said that it would probably take until Friday to get all the streets plowed. I think I will do some neighborhood Active Rain posts :-)
Steve, we grill all year long every year. This year has been really good for it as the temps have been really mild
You are making me feel like a slacker. I just loaded up my freezer with New York steaks. I've told my family as soon as the weather here in Sacramento warms up, we'll have a barbeque. We don't get snow in Sacramento. Temps today were in the low 60s. Still, I think we need to wait until March!
Good Wednesday morning Jan and Steve. Debbie bought a pork but that I will be smoking Saturday. No snow to deal with it'll be in the 60's and Dixie will be my assistant with each grill check.

Myrl...do not delay grilling satifaction I say! Every day is open to that smoky delicious flavor.
John...I want a smoker!!! I do put wet hickory chips inside of aluminum foil on one side of the grill sometimes...that works pretty well for ft flavor. My dogs run keep the underside of the grill and the deck free of grease. Thankfully they are smart enough not to lick a hot grill.
Steve and Jan Bachman Man after my own spirit. Embrace the moment and you do with the BQ. My stepson grills in January wearing flip-flops. Your dogs are pretty savvy, too.

Michael, I seldom drink quality....this must have been a gift! BUT...whe faced with 6 hours of shoveling I saw no need to suffer unduly eh?
Pat, my dog and myself express similar body language when nnear grilled food.
