Here is an interesting article from the East Valley Tribune- Q.C. resident's proposal would tackle blight.

In the Maricopa County portion of Queen Creek that makes up a majority of the town limits, there were 247 foreclosures between January 2007 and January 2008. There are currently 281 houses in foreclosure in the same area, according to real estate data analyst Tom Ruff with Glendale-based Information Market.

Queen Creek resident Chris Clark is proposing an HOA Congress to try help combat the problems realated to the high number of forclosures including weeds, green pools and vandalism.

If you take a drive down any street in the Valley- it is not hard to pick out the homes that have been abandoned- the homes are overgrown with weeds.
