Ringing and Singing in the Rain with Michael Jacobs
I am so glad Debbie Reynolds is sponsoring this “Ringing and Singing January Challenge" again this year. My intentions are always to pick up the phone and call those I follow on Active Rain but somehow it doesn’t make my time block thus it doesn’t happen!
For several years I’ve been meaning to call Michael Jacobs because I like his posts, they are peppered with just enough fun mixed with business to allow me (and consumers) a chance to get to know him. Last week after jumping in the car to make a late afternoon appointment I dialed him up! Of course he was in his car also trying to make an appointment (mind you we were talking hands free) so we made time for a visit.
Michael is a native Californian and has resided in the Pasadena are since 1990. He knows the area backwards and forwards. He is a Real Estate associate with Coldwell Banker just like me. If you haven’t discovered Michael you need to check out his posts. I’ve been to Pasadena but it was back in the 80’s and how it has changed! Michael knows his turf.
His market reports are always spiced up with interesting antidotes weaved in and out of the facts and figures about each community. Business has been good for Michael in 2015 and he is looking forward to an even better 2016!
I now recognize the communities he writes about: Pasadena Millionaires Row, Chapman Woods, South Pasadena, Herman, Monterey Hills and so many more. It’s fun reading how his market is doing and about the Rose Bowl Parade (never on Sunday), the Oscars and everything Pasadena! There is no question if I have a buyer going Michael’s way he will be the first one to call!!
In 2016 Michael plans on growing a neighborhood niche of Monterey Hills (see I do read your posts) in hopes of obtaining more listings and sales. His unique way of writing about communities definitely draws consumers in inviting them to give him a call. Obviously he knows his neighborhoods and people want to be in touch with the trusted resource!
Expect to see more posts in Active Rain on Monterey Hills and all it has to offer. I’m sure his directed blogging efforts are going to be the key to a successful Neighborhood niche in 2016!
Michael’s personality is warm and inviting. I can tell he takes time to make his clients feel special, generous with his attention to their needs. I’ve always liked one of his tag lines when ending a post “I look forward to learning what is most important to you regarding real estate.” Thanks Michael it was indeed a pleasure to visit with you!
