ASK AN AMBASSADOR: Rainers Get Recognition!
It's a habit of mine, I watch for other Rainers as I'm out in the "real" world! I see Rainers past and present playing on the national stage, leading large Facebook groups, quoted online, in newspapers and magazines.
I've learned to take a close look at REALTOR(R) magazine because it seems like most months that someone I know will be present.
The January/February issue features a full page article (page 14) by Debbie Reynolds : How Did You Get My Name? and on page 8 Carla Muss-Jacobs, Principal Broker/Owner leads with the first three paragraphs of The Airbnb Factor.
Debbie and Carla know their stuff so it's no surprise that they're getting national recognition! And this is by no means the first time that I've been leafing through REALTOR(R) magazine and encountered a photo or a quote from someone we recognize from ActiveRain!
Fact is if you blog well and regularly, you too might get found by the media, locally or nationally. For example, some years back we took a stand on a local property tax levy in support of a local school district. Our analysis of property values for that school district vs. surrounding school districts NOT fighting a losing tax levy year after year helped make the case for getting the levy passed. Those posts here on ActiveRain resulted in an interview and quotes in a local magazine and another article in a local newspaper.

You could be the next ActiveRain blogger being found, but only if you take the time to write solid content that engages. It's up to you! Well that, and making sure you have a RAINMAKER account so the public can actually find you!!
