New Construction continues to attract Buyers to Flower Mound, TX

A sunrise over clouds promises another day of construction and that makes buyers and builders happy. There is a lot of new subdivisions, streets, and residents who have decided to make Flower Mound, Texas home.

Flower Mound is located in Denton, County in close proximity to DFW Airport. The original Griffis Corner and Grill near the damn over Lake Grapevine was built between 1945-1946. The sign out front still says, "Gone Fishing Closed" and hasn't re-opened. Within walking distance is now the new Lakeside DFW development for residential homes starting at around $400,000.00 to Lakeside DFW Condos up to about $2,755,500.00 In walking distance there are shops, restaurants, and a Movie House Eatery. Epic Gelato opened a few days ago.

For the most current information about the Town of Flower Mound, visit the website at www.flower-mound.com. The City of Flower Mound was incorporated in 1961 and has grown significantly. Once a upon a time, in the 1990's there was a moratorium on new construction. People felt at home and became extended families to people relocating to the area from other states. Today, Flower Mound is still growing with distinctive custom homes by an array of builders who are shaping up the community with fashionable character and charm. Over time, residents became paramount to the importance of the growth and opportunity in Flower Mound.

What makes Flower Mound most unique? The people. Many are self-employed business owners. Most of the children who moved into the neighborhoods with their parents or were born here have grown up, becoming quite educated at Marcus High School or Flower Mound High School and became prominent figures within the Dallas Metroplex. Flower Mound pride is self-evident.

Grant Schneider - Happy travels to San Antonio via DFW Airpoirt! The warmer weather will be a refreshing break for you. Have a great trip!

There seems to be no ending to the number of buyers preferring new construction to pre-existing. The challenge is the waiting for completion.

Good morning Patricia. Your area and much of Texas has had some amazing growth over the last few years and well deserved. Hopefully there will be continued growth and when it comes to serving the needs of their clients no one will do a better job than you.

Good Morning Joe Petrowsky - the housing boom in Texas has been on fire for some time now. The competition between Realtors is great. Providing quality service is the only way to survive in this business.

If the growth can be done with some sanity, that's great.  The climate, the business environment, and yes...many people want to be in Texas.

Welcome them and teach them how to enjoy Flower Mound.

I know more about Flower Mound now than I did this morning. I've heard the name and now I have some colorful history to go with it. Thanks for the report.
