I live in a family. Besides Mom, there are three other dogs, all rescues like me. I am the baby and still learning the ropes here. I came in May and I am pretty comfortable even though the others don't always like it when I bark. When I came I was pretty sick: I had ring-worms and and was underweight. With medicated baths and lots of attention I soon got better. Now I'm just one of the gang, but I want to be loved by everyone: not just tolerated. I know Mom loves me and I am working on the others, and I am sure I can win them over even if it takes time. My name is Chico Todd and I understand some Spanish too. See you later.

Oh Chico Todd, I remember your early days. You were a LOT of work and your timing was horrible, and you made Mom practically a mess there for a few weeks.

And yet now you've carved a place in the home; surely the home would not be the same without you. I do think your mug makes you look like a prankster, which would mean you were none too happy about being sick when you first were discovered.
