I just reviewed the report from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) on the change in home sales
by price point for 2015 as compared to 2014.
Some Highlights:
- Home Sales are up year-over-year in the top 4 price ranges and only slightly below last year's numbers in a fifth.
- A lack of distressed property inventory has led to a slow down in sales in the under $100K price range.
- As home prices continue to rise, there will be less homes available for sale in the lower ranges.
What does this mean for you, as a homeowner considering the sale of your home?
It means that as the shortage of homes increases, if your home is priced & staged correctly,

Here's what has happened with home sales in your market this past week.
This past week we saw 27 homes sell in Tracy, they sold for $250,000 and $660,000 and had a total of 956 sf. and 3,107 sf. The shortest amount of time on the market was 5 days, and the longest 104 days.
