Well, it has been a good week.  Sold a house Monday, sold one Tuesday and sold another Wednesday.  It is already 7:30 a.m. on Thursday I haven't sold one yet but I'm on a roll!

It is either feast or famine in Real Estate and that is just how it seems to work.  It's the slow times when you wonder why are you in this business and then it feels like they've opened the gates and let all the buyers and sellers out and it is a banquet!

Although I am grateful for the times it is busy, I enjoy the time I get to focus on my business and develop marketing plans and take a step back to review where I'm going or my next step.

All this real estate activity will mean I can pay the bills for the next few months but does not mean I can rest on my laurels.  Prospecting is continuous.  Working in my business on my business never ends.  Just because times are good now does not mean it will stay that way unless I work it!

The more I sell the more I want to sell.  I'm like a blood thirsty animal except more like a Sold Thirsty REALTOR.

I'm grateful that I can count on the referrals from previous and current clients and other networking associates so that I don't have to worry about where the next deal is coming from.  I am able to give my clients quality service because I have been doing my follow up and keeping in touch and asking for referrals that it has been come the  foundational source of my business.

If you or anyone you know want your house sold today.... I have not sold one yet but I am on a roll just give me a call or stop by my website or shoot me an email and I'll follow up right away and see if we can't make your home the next SOLD!

Well, that's a nice story to read in this AWFUL market.  I guess the old adage "hard work" pays off, applys to you!  Your follow-up skills and great customer service is what is making it happen.  Give the service; get the clients!

Kepp on rollin'!

Exciting times!  I don't understand all of the negative talk about the market, I too am extremely busy.  I've recently asked a friend to co-list 3 houses with me, so I can get the job done the right way.  Good luck to you, keep it up!  I firmly believe it's all about what you put into it as well as the attitude you carry!  They work together.

I remember when I first started in real estate a very close friend of mine and a fabulous agent in California told me that real estate deals are like grapes.   They always come in bunches!  And throughout my entire real estate career, I've always found that to be true.  I'm either really busy or wondering if anything is ever going to come along.

Luckily, that works perfectly with my personality - I love to be really, really, busy!  I think if I were just a little busy all the time, I'd get bored.  I much prefer to be crazy busy and then have that time to refocus on my marketing too!

Sara you are right Real Estate is not for the faint hearted.

Ann Getting out there beating the streets and not giving up is how the strong survive in a soft market and it will turn around!

Tina attitude is a key point.  I'm not afraid of a little hard work either.  SOLDS don't fall in our lap it is something we have to work for.

Linda well as it turned out I did sell another house.  Yes that means sold on Monday, sold on Tuesday, sold on Wednesday and SOLD on Thursday!  Four this week.  I'm taking Friday off to catch up on some paper work!

I like that anaylogy Lisa. Real estate is like grapes.  Could be like bananas too. They come in bunches.  And sometimes it drives you bananas.

Jerry when I first read your comment I thought I'm not going to sell another house today but then before 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon it was SOLD!  Thanks for cheering me on!

June I am going to try to take it easy today.  I've got a ton of paperwork to get done now.

Becky - If I could sell one of your listings I sure would!  Maybe you could sell one of mine!

Ray - your prediction was correct!  Can you see the future.  Believe it or not I did sell another house on Thursday.  Many months of hard work led to this.  It did not happen overnight.

Nannette, I think you're a slacker.  How could you not have sold already?!!!  ;-)

Nice work - I don't think I know anyone who has had this strong a week in several years.  Wow!
