Williamsburg Virginia is known for a lot of things, but I don't think most people know that Williamsburg has a vineyard and a winery!

There is a restaurant (pictured above) on the grounds. There are also wine tastings and tours of the winery and vineyards.
One of my favorite Virginia white wines is Governor's White by Willamsburg Winery.
Wineries have been popping up all over the place and now so are the small craft beer places

William, I have noticed that there are a lot of wineries in various places.
Hi Sybil -- it's been a long time since I've visited Williamsburg and I do recall the vineyard there. I don't know if I visited the tasting room ---- maybe it's time for a return trip.

Michael, I would say it is, the weather has been pretty nasty lately so I'd suggest coming during the warmer months.
