However, if Zillow offers something for free, will you take it?

Are You Claiming Your Sales on Zillow
I know many are not fond of Zillow, but it is there and I’m pretty sure it isn’t going anywhere. Many consumers visit Zillow when searching for their perfect home or when trying to determine the value of their current home. We must have a presence on Zillow or we simply won’t exist on a platform with incredible masses of consumers.
Since we have a profile, we might as well make the best of it. One sure way to do this is to claim all of your past sales whether they are buyers or sellers.
Login in to your Zillow account. From the title bar, click on Agent Hub. Next go to your Profile. If you scroll down the page there will be a section for “Past Sales”. Simply click on the “Add Past Sales” link and get busy. The program will ask you whether you represented the seller or the buyer, sale date and purchase price.
This is an easy way to publish your accomplishments for all the world to see.
Remember, you do not need to pay for a profile on Zillow. Of course they would love for you to purchase 10 zip codes in your area, but this is not necessary at all. Just create a free profile and get busy.
