More Things that Make Me Smile in Colorado -- Mother Nature at her Best

Study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you.

Frank Lloyd Wright

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature.

Ann Frank

Thanks Kathy, looking for a walk today and will take my camera, for the chance to catch nature at her best.

Nice thoughts. The best part is you are filling your reality with the good and what you are grateful for. That is a very attractive energy! Thanks

Kathy, just spend a moment to look around. There are so many facets of God's creation to marvel at. From the ants to the clouds, the breezes, and even the lightening.

Great thoughts and words.   I get to look out my window everyday and watch the Blue Jay's, Robins and squirrels beginning their day...can't complain about that.  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for an uplifting post. Sometimes we forget the simple happiness of time spent outside.

All the best

I remember see deer walking around at "The Royal Gorge" and would try to be real quiet while getting closer for a better picture (started to say shot, but thought too many would think of a gun).  It is going to be so nice when God returns and we will be able to lay down witha lion on one side and a lamb on the other while we stroke the both of them.  Thanks for the thoughts today as I am thinking a lot about your area as my Mom and Dad are out there to attend services in Pueblo for my Mom's sister's gone home to be getting things ready for the rest of us while she talks to Jesus.  I will have to find some of the pictures of some of my walks to share with you.

I agree with this advice... it's amazing how many things I fix by clearing my head with a visit outside.

I just watched the first Oprah webcast with the author of The New Earth yesterday, and they talked about "being still with nature".  I guess I better listen, because that message keeps popping up!

Hey Kathy,

More great photos. I too enjoy watching nature and am quite fortunate to be in Florida and an area which has a lot to watch.
