How do you pronounce that word? Weltanschauung?

I've noticed that so many of you are wondering about that! I may be able to help ... being German and all. I promised my friend Jerry Newman to post a little recording with its proper pronunciation and since he also mentioned it on his blog, I got no more excuses!

So, here you go.

How do you pronounce that word? Weltanschauung?

P.S. My director/camera operator is 10. Please cut her some slack. I may be a little biased but I think she did a great job!

Weltanschauung = world view

When you break it up, it becomes much easier!

Welt = world

an*schau[en] = to view/look at

ung = turns the verb anschauen into a noun
