Hello again everyone, this is Rob's wife Kristen. Rob and I were talking and decided to share this experience with you. "Going green" has become a major focus for most today. Wet've read  great ideas about going green from so many. I've been trying to do my part. Lately when I'm out shopping I purchase a few of the re-usable shopping bags. I 've been trying to build my collection so that I have enough to do my grocery shopping and stop using plastic bags. We were out at a local store the other day and made  a purchase. Instead of using the bags that we had purchased to load up our items, the young clerk placed our items and re-usable bags into plastic bags. ??? We just looked at each other and then made the switch ourselves. It seems that so many of our good efforts are lost on those who don't care or find it important. Now don't get me wrong, we are very new to being green. We are just tying to start with something that seems so easy. If we could all just find that something small to start with, we can make sure to leave a nice place for our children and grandchildren.

Why would the clerk do that, how strange.  I guess she didn't even think about it since so many people use plastic bags.  That is great you are making changes and going Green.

Kristen...

Next time shove your bags right at the bagger and ask him if he's green or what? :)
