I just had my driveway sealed for the first time ever! What a difference it made to the overall appearance to my home.  A huge improvement to my curb appeal.  And since it only cost me $63, makes me wonder why I waited so long to do it.

It was a minor inconvenience as I had to park in my neighbors driveway and walk through my front yard to my front door the past two days.  Not the usual click of a button to open the garage, pull in and walk right into the mud room.  I'm not a princess, so this was no big deal.  Really, I felt like more of a bother to my neighbor, but she assured me I wasn't.

This is really an inexpensive way to improve the look of an asphalt driveway.  And companies are very likely to give you a discount if you can get someone in your neighborhood to schedule the same day.

I thought sealing companies charged more than  $63  Did you do it yourself?

It does look beautiful, its amazing what a few inexpensive repair/improvements can do for the look of a property

Katharine:  It's true.  They only charged me $63.  Of course, it only took two guys about 20 minutes to do the work.  They were very efficient.  And that $63 is not including the 10% neighbor discount.

Pam & Scott:  Thanks!  If you decide to do it yourself, try going in with a neighbor for a discount.  It is recommended that you reseal every three or four years.

I am surprised they did it for $63/ . I got my driveway done a few years ago for $250/

Gita:  I also thought it was more, which is why we waited for three years to have it done.  Never seemed like a priority, but when you get a deal like that, how can you say no?

I love your house!

Some people down the street just sealed the driveway and the walk to their house.  The color they used goes beautifully with the paint color of the house.  I didn't know it was so cheap.  Something to recommend to clients.

Peter & Gary:  Thank you for the compiments.  I enjoy living here.  It's the first home I've ever lived in that wasn't attached to a neighbor.

Peter:  I didn't realize there were different colors of sealant.  What color did they use?
