Dog Days of Spring is a wonderful time to celebrate spring with your furry little friends. The Sebastian County Humane Society is partnering with St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church with this event. Dog Days of Spring will be held April 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2701 Old Greenwood Road, Ft. Smith, AR. The Event is FREE!!!
This fundraiser will feature a mini chocolate festival, pet photos and caricatures, a cutest pet contest, veterinarian advice, low-cost rabies and microchip clinic and pet training tips. Fun and games, too, for Spot and the entire family. Please remember that the Sebastian County Human Society really needs kind donations and support from Animal Loving People LIKE YOU!!! Proceeds benefit shelter’s general operating fund.
On any given day, the Sebastian County Humane Society provides shelter, food, medical care and comfort to 400-500 of the area's homeless animals. Every animal adopted is spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, treated for internal parasites and vaccinated. Dogs are tested for heartworms. Cats are tested for leukemia and FIV (cat AIDS).
